Getting into my new routine
This is day 3 of my new routine sans a job so far. I like to call it the unemployment diet.
7:00 am - Wake up, make a pot of coffee and practice Spanish for an hour. Product plug - I use “Tell Me More” Spanish software from Auralog that I bought about a year ago. I really like it and feel like I’m learning.
8:00 am - Try to do some cleaning around the house. Little by little it makes a difference.
8:45 am - Get dressed to go to the gym.
9:00 am - Get to the gym. The weird thing I’ve noticed so far about going to the gym is that even at 9am it is still pretty busy. The funny thing is it seems a lot more people stand around talking than work out. Or it’s the Fishers moms who have nothing better to do than to complain about their children.
11:00 am - Back home to shower, sh*t, shave, etc.
12:00 pm - Lunch
12:30 pm - Start my work day and work on misc tasks. This has begun as me starting on things that I’ve always wanted to do. I.E. learning things on lynda.com, doing old projects I’ve never finished, and then doing design work for Zack for ebash.com.
5:00 pm - That is about my day, I know, real exciting so far. I haven’t really figured out my evening yet because I’m doing all the things that I would trying to rush into a usual evening after work spread out through the day. It’s kind of nice to sit down and watch a movie or tv and not feel guilty about it.
